Alexandria, VA (January 16, 2006) The North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) announced today that for a limited time, three of its popular air handling duct insulation manuals are available electronically at no cost. This is the first time these manuals have been available electronically. From January through March 2006, visitors can download the following manuals at http://www.naima.org/ductmanuals/:
These manuals provide detailed information on how to fabricate and install fibrous glass duct insulation systems. NAIMA strongly supports the education of contractors and is committed to maintaining information that is easily accessible and thorough. NAIMA’s commitment to product stewardship includes product performance and safety testing and a Train the Trainer program for U.S. technical colleges that focuses on the proper fabrication and installation of fiber glass duct systems. Fiber glass and mineral wool insulations are among the most thoroughly tested insulation products on the market. |
