Guardian Fiberglass Joins NAIMA

Alexandria, VA (March 20, 2006) – The North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) announced today that Guardian Building Products, Inc. (GPB) has joined the 70-year old trade association. GPB, one of three major divisions of Guardian Industries Corp., is one of the largest fiberglass insulation manufacturers in the North America.  It produces a full line of light density fiberglass insulation products for use in residential and commercial applications.  The manufacturing plants are located in Albion, MI, Inwood, WV, Kingman, AZ, Mineral Wells, MS, and Erin, Ontario, Canada.             

“NAIMA has always served as a powerful voice for the insulation industry on issues such energy efficiency, sustainability, environmental preservation, and government regulation,” said Ken Mentzer, president and CEO of NAIMA.  With the addition of Guardian Building Products, NAIMA’s voice becomes that much stronger, and we are pleased to have them on board.”

About NAIMA

NAIMA is the association for North American manufacturers of fiber glass, rock wool, and slag wool insulation products. Its role is to promote energy efficiency and environmental preservation through the use of fiber glass, rock wool, and slag wool insulation, and to encourage the safe production and use of these materials.
